Bristol West Insurance Login | Make a Payment

Bristol West policyholders can access policy information, make payments, view account balances, view/print ID cards, enroll in paperless statements, and more via Bristol West’s online policy management interface. The tutorials posted below detail how to sign up for an account, log in to an existing account, reset your password, make a payment, and report a claim.

How to Log In

Step 1 – Go to the homepage (

Step 2 – Enter your user ID and password into the login form on the left side of the page.


Forgot Password – Click the “Forgot Password?” link underneath the password input field. Enter your user ID/email address and then hit “Submit.” You will be asked a series of security verification questions before you will be able to reset your password.


Enroll in Online Access

Step 1 – Press the “New User” or “Sign Up Here” links on the homepage to be taken to the account registration page.

Step 2 – Enter your last name, date of birth, ZIP code, and policy number. Click “Continue” and then enter the required information/select your login credentials to complete the enrollment process.

Make a Payment

Step 1 – You can make a payment either by signing in to your online account, or by using the non-login payment system. If you want to use the non-login payment system, click “Pay Your Bill Online” or “Make a Payment” on the homepage.

Step 2 – Enter your ZIP code and policy number (or last name and date of birth), and then press “Find Policy.”


Step 3 – Enter your payment information.

Report a Claim

Step 1 – You can report a claim online, over the phone (1-800-274-7865), or by getting in touch with your agent.

Step 2 – Go to this page and press the “File Claim Online” link (a pop-up window will generate – this is the claim submission form).


Step 3 – Select whether you want to log in to file the claim, look up your policy number (not log in), or continue as a guest (if you don’t have an online account).


Step 4 – You will need to provide your policy number, full name, description of the loss, and any other required information in order to successfully report the claim.
